I attended my district’s 8th grade graduation last night. It was a wonderful ceremony. The grads looked great and the principal gave a super speech. The chorus and band students gave their last performance, too, and the program concluded with a vocal solo, “We’ve Only Just Begun.”

It’s thrilling to watch grads in their caps and gowns march to “Pomp and Circumstance.”

As for my own graduation, I remember one big moment in college. Together as a class, we moved our tassels from the right to the left…then tossed our caps up in the air.

Does anyone remember the rage during graduations back in the 70′s? Perhaps it was just my high school…not sure I can post this!!! :o
